Frequently Asked Questions

General Info

What's the currency on your store?

Everything is listed in CAD (Canadian Dollars).

What forms of payment do you accept?

krispykart's payment processor is Square, which accepts all major credit cards, as well as Android Pay. At current, krispykart does not accept Apple Pay due to creating issues with shipping options.

Can I order if I'm not in Canada?

Absolutely! Charges on your card will be automatically converted to your local currency by your bank/payment processor.

Do you take Paypal?

Yes, but not on-site! If you need to use Paypal, please Contact Me to arrange an invoice. Please note that this method is much slower and products may sometimes sell out by the time I receive and respond to your message.

Where is krispykart located?

While krispykart doesn't have a physical store, it's based in Greater Vancouver, Canada.

Is there a way to shop in-person?

You can find me with a limited line-up at local conventions, and sometimes in other cities in Canada! Be sure to check out my schedule here.

Order Information

Be sure to read the User Guide before placing your order!

Where can I find my order information?

After check-out, an automated receipt containing your order details  is sent to the email you provided. Be sure to check spam if you don't see it!

What happens if I pre-ordered/back-ordered items?

Pre-ordered/back-ordered items will ship according to their provided estimates in the item description. Additionally, if your order contains both in-stock and pre/back-order items, your order will not ship until these items arrive. If you want in-stock items to ship first, you must order them separately. Any communication regarding delays, production updates, etc. are sent via email, so be sure to use one you check often!

What's the difference between a pre-order and a back-order?

Pre-order items do not start manufacturing until the pre-order period ends. The amount is made-to-order, along with a chance of extra in-stock inventory.
When an item is on backorder, this means a restock is already in production and you are making a reservation for when it arrives. There is limited inventory like any in-stock item, just with a production wait.

I plan to order more later/I placed multiple orders; can you consolidate them?

Consolidation requests are absolutely okay!
If you'd like me to hold your order containing ONLY in-stock items, be sure to leave a note at check-out, or else I will ship your order as scheduled. I can combine any orders made up to 60 days after your first order, with an exception if you added a pre/back-order item.

If your order requested for hold contains pre-order/backorder items, you can consolidate with any other orders made during the production wait by leaving your initial order number in the check-out message. If requested, I can hold your initial pre-order/backorder for an additional 30 days after stock arrival.

Any excess shipping paid from additional consolidated orders will be refunded; if there is no refund, you will be notified via email.

If you forget to leave a note, be sure to
Contact Me immediately.

I forgot something! Can you refund my first order so I can re-order?

No; it'd be easier for you to either immediately place a second order with a consolidation request, or Contact Me for an invoice! As mentioned previously, if there is no refund on shipping, I will notify you via email, and if there is, I will refund it for you automatically.

My country has high VAT, can you mark my order as a gift?

That depends! Please leave a note in your order message and I will reach out to you via email.

Can I organize a Group Order for your goods?

Yes, but please contact me first so we can discuss terms and potential exclusive pricing.
This is also a way for UK customers to be able to purchase from me,  as I will accept UK group orders with a total value of £135+!

I lost access to my email! How can I contact you?

If you have an alternate email, please contact me right away to notify me. If need be, you can also DM me on Twitter (@krispyhu) or Instagram (@krispy.hu). Remember to include your order number in either instance!
Please note that krispykart will never contact you by phone; this information is solely for shipping purposes.

Shipping & Fulfillment

Can I pick-up my order?

As this is a safety hazard, the answer is strictly no. The same goes for sending me things-- please don't!

What shipping carrier do you use?

By default, Canada Post! This means packages will be handed over to your local national postal service once it crosses the Canadian border.
*Depending on your location, discount courier options may be available to you. See Shipping & Returns for more information.

Do you ship to my country?

Probably! Please check your local post website if they're accepting mail from Canada, and Canada Post service disruptions. If your country is unavailable at check-out but you're still interested, please feel free to Contact Me for options and a quote.
At the moment, customers from the US, EU, and UK cannot check-out directly due to tariff regulations. To order, please Contact Me to discuss shipping options. Using a Canadian forwarding service or doing group orders is also highly recommended.

What's the difference between "Letter-post" vs Parcel/Packet shipping?

Letter-post, or Lettermail, is an untracked shipping method meant primarily for documents, which does not require taxation. Hence, if a package sent as lettermail contains any items that are non-flat and non-paper, it will be rejected, as those items would need to be declared to customs.
When shipping internationally, this means anything that is not a print, sticker, etc., can only be sent as a parcel or small packet.
Domestically within Canada, there are no customs requirements. This means that anything that is under ~2cm thick can be sent via Lettermail, no issue!

How can I still order if you don't ship to my location?

I highly recommend using a Canadian forwarding service, a friend's address, or a group order. If you'd rather still have your order shipped directly from me and are alright with the associated risk, please feel free to contact me to discuss your options.

When will my order be shipped?

Orders are shipped approx. 2 weeks after the date they're placed, typically on Tuesday afternoons.
During events or peak seasons, this may extend to 3-4 weeks.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Domestic orders may take around 2-10 business days depending on your location, and level of service you chose.
US & International orders may take anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks depending on the level of service, and the efficiency of your local carrier. During peak seasons, it may take longer than these estimates.
Be sure to visit the Canada Post website, as well as your local post's, to keep up to date with the latest service disruptions to your location.

I picked the wrong shipping option! What should I do?

If you've noticed it, please Contact Me  ASAP! Otherwise, you will be contacted regardless, within 72 hours.
Please note that as of July 16th, 2021, a $1 service fee will be charged for shipping invoices to compensate for the extra and increased transaction fees.

I'm moving soon/need to update my address!

If you have an upcoming address change and don't have the new address yet, be sure to leave a note at checkout. I will hold your order and email you! If you need to generally update your address, please contact me asap.
